According to the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT), South Korea’s Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter (KPLO), officially named “Danuri” successfully began its journey to enter the moon’s orbit. Danuri, which literally means “enjoy the moon” was launched from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on Friday, separating from the Falcon 9 rocket, into space on August 5th.
